The conclusion of a two-day police misconduct hearing concerning PC Jack Oliver has resulted in a detailed assessment of the allegations levelled against him and their subsequent resolution. The hearing, chaired by Dale Simon and held on the 8th and 9th of April 2024 at Suton Police Station, SM1 4RF, involved a panel consisting of Superintendent Lora John (Assessor) and Margie Leong (Independent Member) alongside Dale Simon (LQC).

PC Oliver faced allegations stemming from an incident on 1st August 2022, wherein he was stopped by British Transport Police" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-wpil-monitor-id="6702">British Transport Police (BTP) officers at Norbury British Rail Station. The allegations accused him of dishonestly evading fare payment by utilizing his Police issue Oyster Card (PO Card) at a station not covered by Transport for London (TFL) services.
