A violent rapist who attacked a woman, stole her bank card, and then tried to splash cash on a tracksuit at JD Sports has been locked up for 14 years.
Attack at Petrol Station Ends in Brutal Assault
Kieran Naylor, 40, met the victim at a petrol station in Bolton, Greater Manchester, in the early hours of December 9, 2024. He invited her back to his home where he violently attacked her – kicking and stamping on her, causing serious injuries including a broken femur and wrist, Manchester Crown Court heard.
“As a consequence of the assault, she was unable to stand, and she was in significant pain,” prosecutor Stephen Swift revealed. “She did ask the defendant to call an ambulance, and he laughed.”
The victim desperately tried to escape, dragging herself to the front door, but Naylor pulled her back inside and raped her a second time. She eventually became unconscious from her injuries.
Bank Card Theft & Shocking JD Sports Attempt
Afterwards, Naylor stole her bank card, using it to buy cigarettes and alcohol. He even tried, and failed, to buy a tracksuit from JD Sports in a twisted act of callousness. The woman managed to call for help, and a member of the public alerted emergency services.
