Nathan Stear, 37, from North Row, Milton Keynes, was sentenced to two years at Aylesbury Crown Court on Thursday, 23 January 2026. Stear pleaded guilty to assault causing actual bodily harm, theft, and assault by beating. These horrific crimes were committed over several months against his partner.
Shocking Abuse Leaves Victim Covered in Bruises and Scars
From May to August 2025, Stear subjected a woman in her thirties to relentless violence and coercive control. The victim suffered bruises on her legs, arms, and neck, deep scratches, and terrifying injuries from Stear’s attempt to gouge her eyes. In one chilling attack, he threw a bed onto her. Police arrested Stear on 4 August, with charges following the next day.

“Nathan Stear subjected his victim to repeated and escalating abuse. This was a sustained and terrifying attack that has left lasting physical and emotional scars,” said Detective Constable Charlotte Pratt from the Domestic Abuse Investigation Unit.
