A shooting was reported in southeast London early this morning, prompting a swift response from local authorities.

Police were called to Plough Way at approximately 3:30 am on Saturday, July 20, after receiving reports of gunfire. Officers arrived at the scene shortly thereafter.

Fortunately, no injuries have been reported in connection with the incident, and no arrests have been made thus far. A crime scene has been established as police continue to investigate.

The Metropolitan Police have urged anyone with information to come forward. A spokesperson for the force said: “Police were called at around 03:30hrs on Saturday, 20 July, to reports of shots fired in Plough Way, SE8. Officers attended the location. There has been no reported injury. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances, which will include examination of the scene. There has been no arrest.”
