South Yorkshire Police have confirmed that they are currently reviewing footage after a disturbing incident unfolded during Thursday’s coverage of the World Snooker Championship at The Crucible in Sheffield.

The incident, which has since gone viral on social media, occurred during a break in play while seven-time world champion Stephen Hendry was speaking on BBC’s live broadcast. Viewers noticed a man, whose relation to the young boy is unknown, whispering in the child’s ear before bizarrely biting his ear.
