Detectives have arrested two suspects following the brutal murder of a 22-year-old man in Wembley.

Nightmare Unfolds on Wembley High Road

Just before 1am on Monday, 1 December, police rushed to reports of a stabbing on High Road, Wembley. Despite emergency treatment at the scene, the young victim later died in the hospital. His family has been informed and is receiving specialist support.

Two Arrested in Harrow on Murder and Aiding Charges

On Tuesday, officers arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of murder, alongside a 21-year-old woman suspected of assisting an offender. Both were detained at an address in Harrow, NW9, and remain in custody.

Police Urge Locals to Come Forward

Detective Chief Inspector Paul Waller from the Met’s Homicide Command said: “We are grateful for the help from the local community. While we are not looking for anyone else, anyone who hasn’t spoken to police should come forward.”

Detective Chief Superintendent Luke Williams, leading local policing, added: “This murder has shocked the community. We’ve increased patrols and encourage residents to speak to officers if they have concerns.”

He also urged locals to connect through Met Engage to speak directly with ward officers.
