A chaotic smash-up on Main Road, Sidcup, left a motorbike rider fighting for his life last Friday night (21 November).
Three Cars and a Bike Collide
Just before 9pm, police rushed to the scene after reports of a collision involving three cars and a motorbike. The biker, a man in his 20s, was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
21-Year-Old Woman Arrested
Police arrested a 21-year-old woman on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. She was released on bail and taken to hospital. Thankfully, her injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.
Police Hunt for Witnesses
Met Police are appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward. Quote reference CAD 7305/21Nov when you call 101.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 20:58hrs on Friday, 21 November, following reports of a collision between a motorbike and three cars on Main Road, Sidcup.
“A rider of the motorbike, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service, where he remains in a life-threatening condition.
“The driver of one of the cars, a 21-year-old woman, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. She was released on bail and taken to hospital, where her injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.
“Enquiries continue. If you have any information or dashcam footage that could help police, please call 101 quoting CAD 7305/21Nov.”
