A terrifying collision on Sidcup’s Main Road has left a young motorbike rider battling for his life.
Three Cars and a Bike Involved in Nightmare Crash
Just before 9pm last Friday (21 November), emergency services were scrambled to Main Road following reports of a crash involving three cars and a motorbike. The biker, a man in his 20s, was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
21-Year-Old Woman Arrested Over Dangerous Driving
Police arrested a 21-year-old woman suspected of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. She was later released on bail and treated in hospital. Thankfully, her injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.
Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up
The Met Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward to help their investigation.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 20:58hrs on Friday, 21 November, following reports of a collision between a motorbike and three cars on Main Road, Sidcup.
“A rider of the motorbike, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital by the Ambulance Service, where he remains in a life-threatening condition.
“The driver of one of the cars, a 21-year-old woman, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. She was released on bail and taken to hospital, where her injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.
“Enquiries continue. If you have any information or dashcam footage that could help police, please call 101 quoting CAD 7305/21Nov.”
