Tragedy struck early this morning as a woman fell from the iconic QE2 Bridge in Dartford. Emergency services were called to the scene following concerns for the woman’s welfare shortly before 4 am on Tuesday, July 11.
The incident prompted a swift response from HM Coastguard, who initiated a search and rescue operation. After a thorough search, the woman was eventually recovered from the water near the bridge. Despite the valiant efforts of all involved, she was sadly pronounced deceased.
