Jamil Wilson, a 47-year-old resident of Wilmington Gardens in Eastbourne, has been imprisoned for seven years and six months for committing grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent. The sentencing took place at Lewes Crown Court on January 2nd, following an incident in Brighton.
On the evening of October 12, 2022, between 7 and 10 pm, Wilson attacked a 27-year-old man from Brighton, whom he knew. The victim endured several hours of the assault, resulting in severe head and facial injuries, including a brain haemorrhage.
