Michael Clixby, of Staindale Road in Scunthorpe, was found guilty of robbery at Grimsby Magistrates Court after being charged in connection with the incident and was last week, sentenced to 32 months behind bars on Friday 3 November.

At around 12.40pm on Tuesday 26 September, Clixby approached an 85-year-old man who was withdrawing money from a cash machine and asked for money. The man refused to hand Clixby any money that he had withdrawn and entered a store to do some shopping.
