A homeless couple  have been charged in connection with a burglary in Wokingham – UKNIP

A man and woman have been charged in connection with a burglary in Wokingham.

Andrew Guard, aged 32 of no fixed abode was charged with one count each of burglary dwelling and fraud, and Donna Preston, aged 48 of no fixed abode was charged with one count of handling stolen goods.

The charges relate to an incident that took place on Friday 9 October at 4.30am when a large number of collectable items were stolen from a property on Seaford Road in Wokingham.

Guard has also been charged with two counts of GBH and one count of common assault. This is in connection to an incident that took place on Chestnut Crescent in Shinfield on 20 July 2020. 

All charges occurred on Tuesday (13/10).

Both have been remanded in custody and will appear at Reading Crown Court on a date to be confirmed.
