Rooney Gardi, 22, of Calne Road, Lyneham, has been charged with rape following the incident which occurred in the Dammas Lane car park during the early hours of June 30.
He has been remanded in custody and appeared at Swindon Magistrates Court on Saturday (6/7).
He has since been remanded until his next court appearance which will be a PTPH on August 2 at Swindon Crown Court.
