A 20-year-old woman was celebrating a friend’s birthday with mates when disaster struck in the early hours.
Punch in the City Centre
The group was crossing Old Market Square just before 2am on March 12 when a man suddenly punched the woman.
Suspect Caught and Charged
Shakeal Fraser, 25, from Honeywood Drive, Carlton, has been arrested and slapped with a GBH assault charge.
Court Date Set
Fraser is due to face nottingham/" title="Nottingham" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Nottingham Crown Court on May 22 to answer the serious assault charge.
