A person has been convicted in relation to an incident in which a flag was burned at a protest in June – UKNIP

 

Astrophel Sang, 19 of Ravenhurst Street, Birmingham, pleaded guilty to one count of attempted arson at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today, Wednesday, 4 November.

Sang will be sentenced at Southwark Crown Court on a date to be confirmed.

It follows an incident on the Cenotaph, Westminster, during a demonstration on Sunday, 7 June.
