A Southampton man was caught driving under the influence of drugs while driving without a licence

Aaron Cosgrove was arrested for drug driving in an Audi A4 in Lords Hill last November 25. The 31-year-old man, who does not have a driver’s licence, had cocaine and Benzoylecgonine – a breakdown product of cocaine – in his blood. He admitted two counts of drug driving, one count of driving without a licence, and one count of driving without insurance when he appeared in southampton-magistrates-court" target="_blank" rel="noopener" title="Southampton Magistrates' Court" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked" data-wpil-monitor-id="200184">Southampton Magistrates’ Court. Cosgrove, of Abercrombie Gardens in Southampton, was banned from driving for a year and fined £54. He was also ordered to pay a £95 victim surcharge and £40 in court costs.
