Adetunji Akona-Dosunmo, a 35-year-old man with no fixed address, was handed a prison sentence of two years and four months for committing sex offences in Merseyside and Manchester

The sentencing took place at Manchester Crown Court on Tuesday, May 9. Akona-Dosunmo was also issued an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order to protect potential future victims.

The investigation leading to the charges against Akona-Dosunmo was conducted by Merseyside Police" link="linked" id="83273">Merseyside Police, who discovered that he had engaged in sexual activity with underage girls between February and March of the previous year. Akona-Dosunmo would pass his phone number to these girls, enticing them into illicit encounters.
