An attempted bag theft turned violent near M&S on Plumstead Road this afternoon, as four males, one reportedly wielding a machete, were observed trying to steal a bag from another man.
The incident occurred at approximately 4:05 pm, prompting swift action from law enforcement and emergency services. During the altercation, a man in his 20s sustained a stab wound, fortunately, the injury is reported as not life-threatening or life-changing.
