A three-year-old boy was struck by a car in liverpool/">Liverpool on Friday afternoon and remains in a stable condition in hospital. The driver, a 47-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving while unfit through drugs.
The incident occurred on Smithdown Road near the junction of Hartington Road at around 3:30 p.m. Police were called to the scene and found the injured child. He was taken to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital by ambulance, where he remains in stable condition.
