Police are seeking witnesses following a tragic incident in which a dog was killed after being struck by a car on Hove Lawns. The collision, involving a blue BMW 1 Series, occurred shortly after midday on Friday, July 26.
[block_2]The dog, a Dachshund, was rushed to a veterinary clinic but unfortunately succumbed to its injuries. Authorities have since seized the BMW, which was found to be unregistered and uninsured, near The Lawns Café where the incident took place. The driver remains unidentified, and the vehicle’s owner has not yet been located.
