Friends rally round after teenager injured his arm in the West Wight
Isle of Wight firefighters praise quick thinking group of young people who all helped their injured friend at Totland this afternoon. Fifteen year old Ollie sustained an injury to his arm while enjoying the sea, his quick thinking friends applied pressure to the wound to stop the bleeding and wrapped Ollie in towels to warm him up and called for medical help. After having the wound cleaned and dressed at the scene Ollie was transported to hospital for further care. Ollie wanted to thank all of his friends for helping.
