Gravesend man disqualified for drug-driving offences – UKNIP

Balraj Sabharwal, aged 33, of Jellicoe Avenue, Gravesend, was sentenced on 9 February 2022 at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court. He pleaded guilty to driving above the legal drug-drive limit, in Northfleet, on 12 June 2021. When stopped he gave a reading of 17 microgrammes of Cocaine in one litre of blood. The legal limit is 10 microgrammes. He was disqualified from driving for a total of 24 months and fined £553. He was also ordered to pay a £55 surcharge and costs of £85.
