Kent Police Release CCTV in Kidnapping and Blackmail Investigation

Kent Police have issued CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to concerning an alleged kidnapping and blackmail incident that occurred in Headcorn, Kent. The police are calling for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual who may have crucial information related to the case.

The incident reportedly took place on Saturday, April 17, 2021, around 2:15 pm, when a man was violently assaulted and forcibly removed from his Ford Transit flatbed truck. According to the victim, he was approached by two men in a car park near Headcorn High Street, punched in the face, dragged from his vehicle, and compelled to enter the suspects’ car. He was then driven to various locations where the suspects allegedly threatened him and demanded the handover of another vehicle he owned.

Frankham has been charged with kidnapping and two counts of blackmail. He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court the following day and has been remanded in custody pending further proceedings.

Authorities are urging anyone who recognizes the man in the photos or has any information that could assist the ongoing investigation to contact Kent Police at 01622 604100, citing reference 46/64688/21.
