In a significant legal development, David Dunn (39), originally from Pontefract, has been sentenced to 11 years in prison at Leeds Crown Court today for sexual offences against two children that occurred over a decade ago.
Dunn faced charges of rape of a child, causing a child to engage in sexual activity, attempt rape of a child, and indecency with a child. The offences were committed in the Wakefield District area between 2002 and 2009. The court found Dunn guilty after a thorough examination of the evidence.
