A 50-year-old man has been charged with murder following the death of a woman in Perivale.
Mugurel Nica, of Perivale, was charged on Saturday, March 1, and is set to appear in custody at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Monday, March 3.
Despite their best efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ongoing Investigation
A special post-mortem examination will be conducted in due course to determine the exact cause of death.
Detective Inspector Richard Kempshall, from Specialist Crime, stated:
“We are continuing to support Ana Maria’s family at this difficult time, and our thoughts remain with them. We are not actively seeking anyone else in connection with this investigation.
The investigation remains ongoing, with further updates expected following court proceedings.
