Man charged with Rochester burglary

An 18-year-old man has appeared before court after being charged with burglary and other offences. Joshua Rowmanowski, 18, of Strover Street, Gillingham, has been charged with one count of burglary and theft, one count of aggravated vehicle taking and one count of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place. He has also been charged with one count of using a motor vehicle without insurance and one count of using a motor vehicle without a licence. The charges relate to a burglary which happened in Chelmsford Road, Rochester, on 10 August 2018 where a BMW was reported stolen. Rowmanowski appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on 13 August 2018 and was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on 10 September 2018.
