Hughes faced charges related to offences spanning from March 1, 2014, to May 24, 2022. These included making 250 Category A indecent photos of a child, possessing 26 extreme pornographic images involving animals, possessing 78 more extreme pornographic images with animals, holding 6 prohibited images of children, producing 37 Category B indecent images of children, and generating 84 Category C indecent images of children.
