A brazen theft occurred in broad daylight outside Manchester Crown Court on Piccadilly, near Aytoun Street, on Wednesday, 18 September, when a Yamaha XSR700 motorcycle was stolen by thieves who arrived on a moped.
According to the victim, the perpetrators cut through the motorcycle’s lock chain before making off with the vehicle. The incident has alarmed local motorcycle owners, raising concerns about security in the area.
The theft has left many in the area concerned about public safety, especially considering its proximity to such a high-profile location.
