Jailed Crook Slams Prison WiFi, Now Busted for Shop Robbery!
Adam Ghali Nabbed After Brazen Shop Raid
Adam Ghali, 32, from Upper Green Road, St Helens, has been charged with robbery following a daring hold-up at The Co-Operative on West Street, Ryde, on Saturday night.
From Prison Posts to Police Custody
Ghali first made headlines back in 2011 while serving time for an unrelated crime. He cheekily posted on social media, praising HM Prison Camp Hill—except for the “crap” WiFi.
Hero Local Tackles Armed Robber
At around 9pm, Ghali stormed into the corner shop, threatened staff, and demanded cash. Local hero Neville Browne sprang into action, tackling Ghali to the ground as he tried to flee.
Despite being bitten during the struggle, Mr Browne’s bravery helped police track Ghali down just minutes later on the opposite side of Ryde.
Justice Served
Hampshire Constabulary confirmed Ghali was remanded in custody over the weekend. He’s since appeared before the Isle of Wight court, facing serious charges.
