New Time for World War Two Bomb to be Exploded after Issues

New Time given for controlled explosion will be carried out between 1000 and 1100 today by Royal Navy bomb disposal experts. After an unexploded German 500kg bomb (WWII) has been found on the seabed in Portsmouth Harbour yesterday(Sep 29). The device was located by a barge carrying out dredging works ahead of the arrival of the Navy’s new aircraft carrier – HMS Queen Elizabeth – next spring. The controlled explosion is likely to be carried out in daylight hours (Friday). Update: A dive at 1130 today confirmed that the device was in fact detonated at 0700 this morning.
