Police are looking for witnesses after a collision in Kirkham that resulted in serious injuries to a pedestrian.
A Citroen DS3 collided with a pedestrian on Blackpool Road at around 9 a.m. this morning (Wednesday, July 27th).
The pedestrian, a man in his twenties from Blackpool, was taken to the hospital and remains there with a serious head injury.
The driver of the car, a woman in her 30s, was unharmed.
We are now seeking information and would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision, saw the car or the pedestrian moments before it occurred, or has dashcam or CCTV footage of the incident.
This collision happened on a main road at a busy time of day,” said Sgt Michael Higginson of the Lancashire Police TacOps team. “We believe there will be people who saw what happened or who captured the incident on camera.”
“We are working hard to piece together what happened and would like to hear from anyone with information.” “In the meantime, we send our best wishes to the man in the hospital and wish him a speedy recovery.”
