Girl Suffers Serious Injuries In Collision With Van In Swindon

Avon & Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage after a serious injury collision in Cheddar. The incident occurred at approximately 1.20am on Tuesday, November 14, when a white Vauxhall Vivaro van collided with a parked coach on The Hayes.

Emergency services quickly responded to the scene, and both the driver and passenger of the van were transported to the hospital. They are currently receiving medical treatment, and their next of kin have been informed.

Collision investigators have thoroughly examined the scene, and the road was reopened at around 11:30 after the van was recovered.

Authorities are particularly interested in hearing from individuals who may have witnessed the van being driven in the moments leading up to the collision. Any information or footage captured by dash-cams could be crucial to the investigation.
