Manzorr Hussain and Imtiaz Ali face justice for historic torture of young victims
Two cousins have been locked up for decades after a relentless “campaign of rape” against vulnerable girls in the 1990s. Manzorr Hussain, 55, and Imtiaz Ali, 54, were convicted at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court for systematically grooming and sexually abusing five teenagers across Bury and parts of Wales.
Hussain gets 30 years, Ali 28 for appalling abuse
Hussain, from Bury, was sentenced to 30 years after being found guilty of seven counts of rape and six counts of indecent assault. Radcliffe’s Ali got 28 years, convicted of five rapes, five indecent assaults, and one attempted indecent assault.

The men preyed on their victims with alcohol, drugs, money, and offers of lifts before abusing them in homes, cars, and other sinister locations. Their heinous acts spanned years, with some victims forced through threats or coercion.
Victim impact: trauma that lasted decades
“It’s been an incredibly difficult time, having to relive what happened. The offences those men committed have caused a lot of trauma. My family and friends deserve closure,” said one survivor.
