Three men have been charged in connection with a vehicle theft conspiracy following a police investigation into multiple car thefts in the South East, including Sittingbourne, Tunbridge Wells, and Bromley.
On Wednesday, 5 March 2025, three suspects were formally charged in connection with the offences:
- Peter Clarkson, 47, of Noreen Avenue, Sheerness, was charged with theft of a motor vehicle, conspiracy to steal motor vehicles, and handling stolen goods.
- William Dove, 40, of Queen’s Road, Peckham, London, was charged with conspiracy to steal motor vehicles and handling stolen goods.
- Marshall Underdown, 19, of Harris Road, Sheerness, was charged with conspiracy to steal motor vehicles, handling stolen goods, and possession of a prohibited weapon.
All three men were granted bail with conditions and are due to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on 11 April 2025.
