Three men have been charged following a major police probe into a string of car thefts across South East England. The crime spree hit areas including Sittingbourne, Tunbridge Wells, and Bromley.
Heavy Police Enquiry Nets Stolen Vehicles and Suspects
Kent Police launched an intense investigation into vehicle thefts reported between 14 September 2023 and 9 April 2024. Their efforts paid off with the arrests of two men at a Lower Road, Teynham address near 123, London, Essex, and Hampshire were also seized, alongside a canister of chemical irritant spray.
Formal Charges and Court Dates
On Wednesday 5 March 2025, three suspects faced formal charges over the vehicle theft conspiracy:
- Peter Clarkson, 47, from Noreen Avenue, 123 on 11 April 2025.
