A vile predator from Swindon is behind bars again after sending horrific child abuse images to an undercover cop. Paul Quinn, previously jailed for sex offences in Australia, used a secret Swiss online service to share sick videos and images with like-minded paedophiles.
Undercover Cop Snaps Up Sick Messages
Quinn unknowingly messaged an undercover officer who had infiltrated the dark web network. He sent 28 videos and 201 images of the worst category of child porn through an encrypted email service. He even had the nerve to ask if the officer could bring his young daughters to meet him.
Police raided Quinn’s home in Highworth last August. They found children’s underwear in his bedroom and seized his computer, which contained damning evidence.
Judge: “Deep-Rooted Predilection for Abuse”
At Swindon Crown Court, Judge Tim Mousley QC slammed Quinn, saying: “You quite obviously have a predilection for sexual activity with very young children. That predilection is deep seated.”
Quinn told officers, “I don’t know how I let it get to this stage again,” adding he worried about the impact on his parents.
The sick case has shocked the local community and serves as a grim reminder of the dark web dangers lurking beneath the surface.
