The man, believed to be in his 40s, was understood to have been assaulted during a row with some people at a house in Newbridge on Wednesday.

He was found outside the property, severely injured and was immediately taken to Naas General Hospital. The gardaí were alerted and an investigation was launched. However, the man succumbed to his injuries and died the following day.
