Friends revealed that the fall occurred while he was working without a harness on Wednesday, leading to his untimely death. Essex Police have arrested a man suspected of gross negligence manslaughter in connection with the incident.
George Gilbey, a beloved figure on Gogglebox alongside his mother Linda McGarry and stepfather Pete, fell to his death just three years after losing Pete. The accident occurred at EGL Homecare, where George was working without proper safety precautions. Despite efforts from emergency services, he did not survive the fall.
