A 37-year-old woman has been charged with murder following the death of a four-year-old boy in Maidenhead, Thames Valley Police have confirmed.
Officers were called to a residential property in Dunholme End at around 6.30pm on Tuesday, 10 June, after reports of a serious incident. Upon arrival, emergency services found a four-year-old boy who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The formal identification process is still ongoing, and the victim’s name has not yet been released.
Woman Arrested and Charged
On the same day, a woman was arrested in connection with the investigation. She has now been identified as Akanksha Adivarekar, aged 37, of Dunholme End, Maidenhead.
She has been charged with one count of murder and is scheduled to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 19 June.
Thames Valley Police have not released further details at this stage. The investigation remains active, and officers continue to gather evidence.
