XL Bully Dogs Seized and Man Arrested After Street Altercation in Moulsecoomb

Police were called to Newick Road in Moulsecoomb, Brighton, on Wednesday evening (6 August) following reports of a disturbance involving two men.

Officers responded to the incident at around 8:30pm and attended the scene where the altercation reportedly took place in the street. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

As part of the investigation, two XL Bully dogs were seized from the location. A 51-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray and has since been released on bail while enquiries continue.

Police have confirmed that multiple lines of enquiry are being pursued to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

Witnesses or anyone with relevant CCTV or mobile phone footage are urged to come forward and assist with the investigation. Information can be reported online or by calling 101 and quoting serial 1326 of 06/08.
