Eight Men Nabbed After Pub Brawl Following England Game

Police have charged four men and arrested another four over a disorder at the Steam Railway pub in Newport Street on Wednesday night (10/07), after the England vs Netherlands match.

Four Charged With Affray – Remanded in Custody

Myles Fisher, 22, Max Fisher, 18—both from Buckerfields, Ogbourne St George—Devonte O’Brien, 19, of Hanbury Road, Park South, and Zac Stride, 18, from Middleton Close, Walcot, face affray charges. They have all been remanded in custody ahead of their court hearing on August 9.

Another Four Arrested, Released on Bail

Police also detained four men in their 20s on suspicion of violent disorder and assault. These suspects have been bailed while investigations continue.
