Man arrested after jumping on to Railway Line in Margate causing major delays

This is the shocking moment a man jumped off a platform and onto train tracks in Margate this afternoon The man can be seen balancing precariously over the ledge at Margate station in Kent before jumping on to the tracks. Trains into the station were stopped before the man could come to any harm Officers from British Transport Police" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked" data-wpil-monitor-id="155596">British Transport Police order Network rail staff to switched off the power whilst they dealt with the incident. A Police have revealed that the man as been arrested for trespassing on the railway he has been arrested and taken into custody. He will be now taken to a police in Kent for questioning. Disruption between Ashford International and Ebbsfleet International carried on until after the evening rush hour.
