Nine year old girl attacked In unprovoked attack
Officers are appealing for information after a 9-year-old girl was assaulted in Portsmouth. At around 3.30pm on Wednesday, 27 March the girl was walking along Goldsmith Avenue when she was approached from behind by a man who slapped her in the face. She suffered bruising and swelling as a result of the assault. The man is described as: Asian, aged 30 to 40 and between 5ft 8ins and 5ft 10ins. PC Matthew Campbell, said: “This was an unprovoked attack where a young girl has been assaulted.We need to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident or anyone who thinks they may know who was responsible.
