Missing Teen Russel Burrdett-Deakin: Police Launch Urgent Search
Russel Burrdett-Deakin vanished from his home near Sutton Road around 6.30pm on Wednesday, 6 September 2023. Authorities are scrambling to find the 17-year-old and reassure him he’s safe.
Police Plea: Russel, You’re Not in Trouble
Chief Inspector Mark McLellan urged Russel to come forward, saying: “We want Russel to know that while he may be feeling worried or scared, we’re here to help him. He is not in any trouble at all.”
Ch Insp McLellan added there’s a network of support ready to help, including the Missing People charity. Volunteers at Missing People are available daily from 9am to 11pm on 116 000.
