Police issue CCTV of Wanted Shanklin Co-op Armed Robber
Officers from Hampshire Police have released CCTV in their continued hunt for an armed robbery at the Welcome Store, Arthurs Hill, Shanklin, which happened at 10.20pm on February 17. The images show a man walking into the Co-Operative Welcome Store, on Arthurs Hill, wearing a striped balaclava and holding a metal pole, at around 10.20pm, on February 17 The man went up to a member of staff and punched them in the face before demanding money from the tills. Another member of staff handed over the money and the man left the store, heading in the direction of the 1 path. The shop assistant who was punched was taken to hospital with a suspected broken nose. They were later discharged. Do you recognise the man in these images? Did you see this person in the area at the time of the 1? He is described as being white and was wearing a striped balaclava, a dark jacket, dark trousers, white trainers and dark gloves.
