Gosport Dad Killed in Horror Basingstoke Crash
Police have named the man killed in a tragic Basingstoke crash last week. Duncan Appleby, 38, from Coronado Road, lost his life after his Ford Transit collided with a lorry at the busy A30 and A33 junction.
Crash Details
The smash happened around 4.10pm on Thursday, September 29. Duncan was rushed to hospital but sadly died the following day from his injuries.
Passenger and Lorry Crew Injured
- Duncan’s passenger, a 30-year-old man, remains in hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
- The three men in the lorry escaped with minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Investigations are ongoing. Detectives want anyone who saw the crash or either vehicle beforehand to come forward.
