A 14-year-old boy has been arrested by the Metropolitan Police’s Counter Terrorism Command as part of an ongoing investigation. The arrest took place on Wednesday, May 22, at an address in london/" title="WEST LONDON" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-wpil-monitor-id="17129">west London. The boy is suspected of possessing information that could be useful for committing or preparing acts of terrorism.
Commander Dominic Murphy, Head of the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command, expressed concern over the trend of young individuals becoming involved in terrorist-related activities. He emphasised the importance of vigilance among parents, friends, and family members to recognise warning signs early and seek advice and support.
