Teen Terror Arrest Rocks West London
A 14-year-old boy has been arrested by the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command in a major probe into extremist activity. The arrest happened on Wednesday, May 22, at a west London address. Police say the youngster was found with material suspected to be linked to preparing terrorist acts.
Alarm Over Rising Youth Radicalisation
Commander Dominic Murphy, who heads the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command, slammed the worrying trend of young people getting involved in terrorism. He urged parents, friends, and family to ACT early and watch for signs of radicalisation before it’s too late.
“It’s crucial for those close to young people to spot warning signs and get help immediately,” said Murphy.

Ongoing Terror Probe in West London
The teenage suspect was taken to a local police station after his arrest, but he has since been released on bail. Further investigations are set for early August. This case is connected to extreme right-wing terrorist material.
Police have also searched another west London property as part of the wide-reaching investigation. The Met stresses the hunt is ongoing and urges the public to report any suspicious activity.
