Heartbreak After Fatal Crash on Northern Approach Road
Vadims Jevstafjevs, 37, lost his life in a tragic crash involving a white Mercedes and his bike on Northern Approach Road near Bruff Close at around 7pm on 15 October.

Vadims’ cousin described him as “a simple man with a big heart” and “a true friend who always looked on the bright side.” She added, “He was like a big brother to me and took great pride in caring for his family. Vadims, you have left footprints on our hearts. Things will never be the same without you. We miss you dearly and cherish our memories.”
Police Appeal for Witnesses
A 47-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving but has since been released under investigation.
