Man Found Dead at Wallasey Lake
Merseyside Police have confirmed the death of a man found in Wallasey is not suspicious.
At around 6:30am on Monday, 20 May, officers were called to Central Park on Liscard Road after a body was discovered in the lake. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigation Underway
The victim has been identified, and police are working to trace his next of kin. A Home Office post-mortem has been carried out, but the cause of death remains under wraps pending toxicology results.
For now, detectives say there’s no foul play involved. The case will be passed to the coroner for further examination.
